Platts to end USWC-Singapore 30kt assessment

Platts proposes to discontinue its US West Coast to Singapore 30kt clean tanker freight lumpsum assessments.

These assessments have reflected a large flow of products from USWC to Singapore. However, this no longer reflects an actively traded flow on this size cargo.

These rates are published in Clean Tankerwire and on Platts Global Alert page 558.

Platts proposes to discontinue this assessment on August 1, 2012.
