Platts proposes to discontinue its Med-United Kingdom/Continent 30,000 mt Jet Fuel premium tanker freight assessment, reflecting the fact that there is no longer a premium for Jet cargoes over clean vessels typically carrying light ends and other middle distillates. These rates are published in the Platts Clean Tankerwire and on Platts Global Alert page 558. Platts proposes to discontinue this assessment on August 1, 2012.
