Subscriber note: Platts to end Med-India, Black Sea-India 30kt

Platts proposes to discontinue its Mediterranean to India 30kt, and the Black Sea to India 30kt Clean Tanker freight assessments. These assessments have reflected a large flow of products from Europe to India, however this route has now largely been reversed due the large increase in Indian refining capacity. These rates are published in the Clean Tankerwire and on Platts Global Alert page 558. Platts proposes to discontinue this assessment on August 1, 2012.
