Subscriber note: Platts to end Caribs-USG 30kt assessment

Platts proposes to discontinue its Caribbean to the US Gulf 30kt clean tanker freight worldscale and $/mt assessments. These assessments have reflected a flow of products from the Caribbean to the US Gulf, however this no longer reflects an actively traded flow on this size cargo. These rates are published in the Clean Tankerwire and on Platts Global Alert page 558. Platts proposes to discontinue this assessment on August 1, 2012.
