US Domestic Transaction Contract Price styrene

Platts will publish a weekly US Domestic Transaction Contract Price styrene assessment starting February 5, 2010.

The weekly assessment will replace the domestic transaction contract price for styrene -- code PHABX00 -- which is currently settled retroactively on a monthly basis.

The assessments will be published in the Europe and Americas Petrochemical scan, Platts Petrochemical Alert, and Platts Dispatch.

The assessment will be a spot price in cents/lb basis ex-works US Gulf Coast, and will reflect styrene monomer that conforms to ASTM D-2827 specifications.
