Platts is seeking industry feedback to review the specifications of European virgin/isomer grade mixed xylenes.

Platts understands industry participants are trading virgin/isomer MX grade in Europe that meets the below specifications:

AWC : pass with 6 Copper corrosion : pass (1A or 1B) Appearance : clear Color (PT/CO) : max 20 Distillation range : max 5 Initial distillation temp : min 137 Dry point : max 143 Non aromatics content : max 1% PX content : min 18% EB content : max 20%
