Platts discontinues HRC CFR Southeast Asia rationale

S&P Global Platts is discontinuing the publication of an assessment rationale for the CFR Southeast Asia hot rolled coil price assessment, and will instead include information on trades, bids and offers in the daily market commentary, effective Jan. 24, 2022.

The rationale appeared on Platts Steel Alert page 1199 and in the SBB Daily Briefing. The market commentary is accessible on page 0899 and in the Briefing.

The Platts HRC CFR Southeast Asia SAE1006 (TS01041) assessment and its methodology are not affected by this change.
