Platts updates pricing history for Platts-Viridios CARBEX Indices to Jan. 4, 2016

S&P Global Platts has updated the daily and monthly pricing data for all six of its Platts-Viridios CARBEX Carbon Credit Indices to Jan. 4, 2016, with effect from Jan. 21, 2022.

The six Platts-Viridios carbon credit indices reflect the different types of voluntary carbon credits and enhance market transparency in the voluntary carbon credit and co-benefit markets. Co-benefits are attributes of carbon credits which provide evidence of meeting the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) defined by the United Nations General Assembly.

Additionally, Platts has amended the August 2021 Monthly Average prices for all of the six CARBEX assessments to reflect the full month of available data. These prices have been amended as follows:
