Platts proposes new White River Hub monthly natural gas index

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, proposes to add a new White River Hub (IGBGL03) monthly natural gas index.

Platts currently publishes a daily index for White River Hub and would keep the methodology unchanged for the monthly market.

The methodology for White River Hub would be as follows: White River Hub (daily and monthly market) Deliveries to or from pools or interconnects that make up the White River Hub in Rio Blanco County, Colorado.

The proposed index would become effective for trade date Feb. 23, the first trading day of March bidweek.

The ICE White River Hub location would be included in the Platts White River Hub monthly index. Due to this inclusion, Platts would cease republishing ICE White River Hub symbols effective trade date Feb. 23.

The following symbols would be discontinued:
