Platts Asia metals Lunar New Year holiday schedule

S&P Global Platts offices will be closed for the Lunar New Year holidays on Feb. 12 in Singapore and Feb. 11-17 in China. Platts Tokyo office will be closed Feb. 11 for the National Foundation Day.

Daily assessments for iron ore, coking coal, steel, scrap, alumina and other nonferrous metals will not be published from Singapore on Feb. 12, while daily China domestic steel and alumina and FOB China steel assessments will not be published over Feb. 11-17.

Weekly assessments published out of Singapore Feb. 12 will be brought forward to Feb. 11. Weekly assessments published out of China Feb. 11-12 will be brought forward to Feb. 10, and those due Feb. 15-17 will be published Feb. 18. The weekly China domestic aluminum alloy ADC12 assessment will not be published the week of Feb. 15.

In addition, Platts Market on Close assessment process in Singapore will close early on Feb. 11, and all assessments will be made based on the 12:30 pm Singapore time (0430 GMT) timestamp.

The aluminum CIF Japan spot and quarterly price assessments will not be published Feb. 11, and will resume normal publication Feb. 12.

Normal Singapore publishing schedules will resume on Feb. 15, and in China, from Feb. 18.
