S&P Global Platts proposes to change the methodology of its Turkey ex-works flat steel assessments from a volume-weighted average index to a Market-on-Close assessment approach from March 1, 2018.
Platts seeks market feedback on its proposal by January 26, 2018.
Data collection:
To assess these flat-rolled steel products, Platts would continue to collect a wide variety of transactional and market information through a survey of industry participants, which typically includes communicating with sources via phone, email, and instant messaging.
