Platts is making a minor change to its methodology and specifications for the US Aluminum Transaction premium assessment to update the typical freight cost range for an average Midwest user of P1020 aluminum.
Based on current industry feedback, the range as of January 2015 is 2.0-2.5 cents/lb.
Platts is updating its methodology on www.platts.com to reflect this clarification.
