Platts to suspend PGA page 244, enhance page 190

Platts proposes to suspend Platts Global Alert page 244, with a tentative suspension date of February 24, 2012.

PGA page 244 is a continuation page for PGA page 190.

Page 190 is widely used by readers to review bids, offers and trades published during the Platts Market on Close assessment process for Asia refined products.

At the same time, Platts proposes to enhance page 190, adding more lines to allow for a fuller display of bids, offers, trades and trade summaries.

For greater clarity, page 190 will display each event as it is published, but will no longer append previous events to the body text.

This will allow the reader to more clearly associate each published event with its relevant headline, and simplify viewing the text published on page 190.
