Platts decides to discontinue various Indian rice weekly assessments

S&P Global Platts has decided to discontinue the following Indian rice weekly assessments, and their related volatility calculations, effective March 25, 2022.

Trade of these grades has become increasingly illiquid as farmers have chosen to plant 1509 Basmati and as buyers increasingly show a preference for steam and parboiled Basmati over white Basmati.
