Platts to update timestamp for EMEA thermal coal assessments

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, plans to update the timestamp for EMEA thermal coal assessments from 5:00 pm to 4:30 pm UK time effective Jan. 20, 2023.

The following assessments will be updated; FOB Colombia thermal coal (CSABZ00/CSEUC00), FOB Russia Baltic thermal coal (CSAKC00/CSEUL00), CIF Med thermal coal (CTCMA04/CTCMB04) and CIF Turkey petcoke (CTCMT04 /CTCME04).

Effective Jan. 20, 2023, Platts will update the timestamps to be inline with the Platts US dollar-Euro foreign exchange assessment (AACOP00) time-stamped at 4:30 pm UK time. The change will capture a timelier conversion rate for the assessments.
