Following industry feedback, Platts will discontinue publication of the monthly price assessment of Wire Rod Mesh Quality CFR East Asia (SB01245), effective February 27. China has emerged as a major exporter wire rod to the region in recent years. Platts is seeking to refocus its market reporting on FOB China price assessments for this steel product.
