Platts proposes to amend Peak Downs Region coking coal specification

Platts is proposing to change the level of ash in its Peak Downs Region coking coal specification to 10.5% from 9.7%, to reflect the current level of ash being typically delivered to market in coals reflected in this assessment.

Platts also proposes to amend Peak Downs Region's phosphorus level to 0.03%, from 0.035% previously.

Platts seeks feedback on this proposal with a view to implementing any change in specification on or before March 1, 2012.
