Platts CIF Northwest European naphtha cargo assessments reflect bids, offers and transactions where the vessel is not guaranteed to have an inert gas system (IGS) if the material is delivered in a coaster vessel, typically of 12,500 mt.
Platts has reviewed market practices in the region where such vessels are delivered. In those situations where the buyer requires a vessel with an IGS facility, that buyer should specify it in the bid or declare the delivery port which requires an IGS vessel.
