(Corrects feedback deadline to January 20)
S&P Global Platts is proposing to include Tianjin, China, bonded warehouse transactional information in its daily dealer molybdenum oxide price assessment.
With increasing volumes of business reported in East Asia, this proposal is in response to market research and initial feedback from market participants. Under this proposal, Platts would include in-warehouse Tianjin transactional information in US dollars meeting the assessment specification.
Existing locations for reported prices and volumes include in-warehouse Rotterdam, CIF Japan, in-warehouse Busan, CIF India and delivered USA.
Platts proposes for this change to take place on March 1, 2017.
Please submit any feedback, comments or questions about this proposal by January 20, 2017, to Jitendra Gill at jitendra.gill@spglobal.com, Andy Blamey at andy.blamey@spglobal.com, HongMei Li at hongmei.li@spglobal.com and pricemethodology@spglobal.com.
