Subscriber note: Platts continues steel price integration in Asia

Platts and Steel Business Briefing (SBB) have published similar price assessments in China for various steel products which Platts proposes to integrate and harmonize with the adoption of existing Platts methodology where appropriate. At the same time, Platts also proposes enhancing assessments previously made only by SBB with methodology devised by the integrated metals editorial group and adhering to Platts editorial standards. Platts also proposes discontinuing some assessments. The affected assessments are listed below, feedback is invited on these proposals by January 31, 2013, with a view to implement the changes by March 1, 2013.
