Platts clarifies data reflected in Japan hydrogen pump price assessments

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, would like to restate its methodology regarding the data reflected in its Japan hydrogen pump price assessments.

Japan Chubu H2 Pump Price, Japan Chugoku and Kyushu H2 Pump Price, Japan Kinki H2 Pump Price, Japan Metropolitan H2 Pump Price, and Japan Tohoku H2 Pump Price are based on posted pump prices for hydrogen fuel stations in Japan provided by the gas company Iwatani. Platts will publish these prices monthly, to reflect the latest data -- even where the data has remained unchanged month on month -- aligned with Platts' understanding of common industry practice.
