Platts removes February Brent EFP assessment for Dec. 30 from its database

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has removed its assessment for the February Brent EFP (AAGVX00) for Dec. 30 from its database.

The assessment was published in error and there should have been no Dec. 30 February Brent EFP assessment as the February ICE Brent futures contract expired on Dec. 29.

The assessment appears on Platts Global Alert and Platts Crude Oil Alert pages 1212 and 0218 and in the Crude Oil Marketwire and Oilgram Price Report.

As a result, the December monthly average (AAGVX03) has been updated to 11.8 cents/b.
