Platts launches Mexico's OSP values, K factors for India cargoes

S&P Global Platts has begun publishing official selling price calculations and K factors for Mexico's crude cargoes destined for India, effective Jan. 3, 2022.

This follows Pemex's issuance of new K factors for cargoes of Olmeca, Isthmus and Maya crude for delivery to India. Previously, cargoes bound for India shared the same pricing formula and constant terms, or K-Factors, as those going to Europe and the Middle East. Under the new pricing system, separate K factors will be offered monthly for India cargoes of Olmeca, Isthmus and Maya crudes. The new values will appear alongside existing ones for Mexico's cargoes to Europe and the Middle East and the United States. The pricing formula for India cargoes will continue to be ICE Brent + K.
