Platts Japan Aluminum Premium Assessment, Dec 31, 2022 published in error

Platts erroneously published an assessment for the CIF Japan primary aluminum premium on Dec. 31, 2021, and also for the CIF Japan primary aluminum fourth-quarter premium. These assessments are for the database symbols: MMANA00, AAFGA00. Neither of these assessments should have been published on Dec. 31 as they follow a Japanese and London Metal Exchange holiday schedule. While the LME was open on Dec. 31, it was a public holiday in Japan on Dec. 31.

As a result of this error, it is necessary to republish our monthly averages the month of December.
