Platts will add a third half-month marker laycan to its daily Asian paraxylene assessments for FOB Korea and CFR Taiwan/China on January 4, 2016.
This is being done to capture more forward trading activity and to better reflect bids, offers and trades for the next full month after ports have been declared for the prompt month.
Platts reserves the right to review activity in the prompt laycan as warranted.
The additional marker laycan will be the fifth half-month laycan. For example, the marker in H1 January consists of H1 and H2 February, and the additional marker laycan will be H1 March.
