Following a period of industry feedback, Platts has decided to end its finished regular and premium gasoline assessments for Portland and Seattle, with effect from March 1, 2014. This proposal follows Platts' proposal, published on August 23, to change specifications for its Portland and Seattle gasoline assessments.
The assessments to be discontinued are for premium (91 octane) and regular (87 octane) gasoline assessments in Portland and Seattle.
Platts' Portland gasoline assessments are currently published on Platts Global Alert page 350, and in the Platts assessment database under code PGADD00 for 87 octane and PGABL00 for 91 octane. Platts' Seattle gasoline assessments are currently published on PGA page 350, and in the Platts assessment database under code PGADF00 for 87 octane and PGABN00 for 91 octane.
