Platts updates European gasoline, naphtha netback and net-forward assessment formulas effective, Jan. 2, 2024

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has updated the formulas to derive its netback and net-forward assessments to reflect Worldscale freight rates for 2024.

The changes are effective Jan. 2, 2024 across the following Platts price assessments for the Europe and Africa region:

Gasoline

West Africa Gasoline CIF West Africa (AGNWC00) $17.93/mt

Naphtha

Assessment Name 2024 netback/net-forward formula

Naphtha Cargoes FOB Med (PAAAI00) 2024 WS rate for Alexandria-Rotterdam, inclusive of Rotterdam port fees

Naphtha Cargoes CIF Med (PAAAH00) 2024 WS rate for Alexandria-Lavera, inclusive of Rotterdam port fees
