Platts launches new price spreads for Asian PX

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has started publishing near haul/long haul price spreads for Asian Paraxylene CFR Taiwan/China from Jan. 2, 2024.

The publication of the near haul/long haul price spreads for Month 1 (M1) and Month 2 (M2) follows a decision to publish the new spreads effective Jan. 2, 2024, in a subscriber note published Nov. 30, 2023.

These spread assessments will be published under the following price database codes:

Furthermore, Platts will discontinue the publication of the Month 1 and Month 2 Asia/open-origin spread assessments for Asia paraxylene CFR Taiwan/China on April 1, 2024, as stated in a subscriber note published Dec. 22, 2023.
