Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has launched daily spot polypropylene raffia assessments for the Middle East, effective Jan. 2, 2024. The new assessments will provide transparency into the Middle Eastern polypropylene markets, while complementing the Platts existing suite of polymer netback values. Details of the new assessments are as follows:

The new assessments will be based on firm bids, offers, trades, and indicative values, as well as any other data deemed relevant to the assessment process. Pricing information for material with other specifications and terms may be normalized accordingly.
The new assessments will reflect spot values on a daily basis at 11:30 London time and will follow the London publishing calendar.
Platts currently publishes the following Middle Eastern polymer netbacks on page 621 of the Platts Petrochemical Alert:
