Platts discontinues seven fertilizer freight assessments

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has discontinued a number of weekly freight assessments for ammonia, urea, urea ammonium nitrate (UAN) and ammonium sulfate (AS), effective Jan. 2, 2024.

Platts discontinued these freight assessments in response to changing fertilizer trade flows.

The affected assessments appeared in the Ammonia Market Report, Urea Market Report and Nitrates Market Report only, but were not available via Platts Connect.

Ammonia Freight Black Sea NW Europe 23.5kt $/mt

Ammonia Freight Black Sea Morocco 23.5kt $/mt

Urea Freight Black Sea West Coast Mexico 20-25kt $/mt

Urea Ammonium Nitrate Baltic (Non-Russian) EC USA 35kt $/mt

Urea Ammonium Nitrate Baltic (Non-Russian) Argentina 30kt $/mt

Ammonium Sulfate NW Europe Brazil 25-30kt $/mt
