Launch Subnote Platts changes Algonquin receipts natural gas daily index methodology

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has removed the Beverly-Salem, Brookfield and Mendon interconnects from its Algonquin, receipts daily natural gas index, effective trade date Dec. 29 and flow date Jan. 1.

The new methodology is as follows:

Algonquin, receipts (daily market only)

Deliveries into Algonquin Gas Transmission starting at the Lambertville, NJ, interconnect with Texas Eastern Transmission easterly to the Ramapo, NY, interconnect with Columbia Gas Transmission. Deliveries into Algonquin Gas Transmission east of Ramapo, NY, are not included.
