Platts renames Hail Creek met coal brand to GLV

S&P Global Platts has renamed the daily metallurgical coal brand assessment of Hail Creek to GLV effective from January 2, 2020.

This follows on from a decision note published October 22 and available here:

The GLV assessment is now published together with other brand assessments on page 9 of SBB Steel Markets Daily, page 8 of Coal Trader International, on fixed pages MV1064 and MV1066 on the Platts Metals Alert, in the Platts Market Center and in Platts price database under the below codes:

GLV CFR China [Code: MCBAF00, Mavg: MCBAF03], as well as GLV FOB Australia [Code: HCHCA00, Mavg: HCHCA03].
