SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts launches CFR Northeast Asia assessment for butadiene

S&P Global Platts has launched a CFR Northeast Asia daily assessment for butadiene in light of market demand for such a price series.

Platts has launched this new assessment to better capture trade flows into the South Korea and Japan markets. The assessment complements the existing daily FOB Korea and CFR China as well as weekly CFR Taiwan and CFR Southeast Asia price assessments.

The CFR Northeast Asia assessment will not encompass CFR Taiwan or CFR China; these assessments remain independent and will continue to be assessed and published separately.

The daily assessments take into consideration price information gathered up to the close of the assessment process at 4:30 pm Singapore time (0830 GMT) from Mondays to Fridays.
