Platts to set US lead premium

Platts is to publish a US physical lead premium, priced in cents/lb. The premium represents the physical premium to the LME cash settlement price for 99.97% pre, corroding-grade lead. It will be published on Tuesdays, or nearest business day in the event of a holiday, on Platts Metals Alert pg 306 and in Platts Metals Daily in the Other Base Metals price table on page 7 It will also be repeated in the weekly price pages of the Platts Metals Week supplement to Platts Metals Daily.

Launch date is scheduled for December 4, 2012.
