New Emissions Codes

The following symbols have been created and are linked to EU Allowances under the EU Emissions Trading System and UN Certified Emission Reductions. These symbols will maintain an ongoing value for the nearest December contract and subsequent contracts up to two years ahead. The new codes form an addition to Platts' existing suite of EUA and CER price assessments, which are linked to specific annual delivery dates, and will allow a single code to provide a continuous value for the most liquid traded contract. The data will start updating on Decemeber 16, 2014 and will be published in Platts Market Data.
