Platts announces Eagle Ford Marker assessment launch

Platts is launching an Eagle Ford Marker assessment on October 16, 2012. Eagle Ford Marker represents the gross product weight of a 47 API Eagle Ford crude barrel adjusted for spot values. The specific product assessments and yield percentages used to calculate the Eagle Ford Yield can be found at http://www.platts.com/MethodologyAndSpecifications/Oil. Eagle Ford Postings Average is the daily average of four posted prices for Eagle Ford crude from the following companies: Sunoco, Plains, Flint Hills, and Enterprise.

These assessments will be published in Crude Oil Marketwire, North American Crude Wire, Oilgram Price Report, and Platts Global Alert pages 214 and 260.
