Description change for BEB and E.On Ruhrgas

From October 1 Platts will relabel the German BEB Market price assessments as the 'German GASPOOL' price assessments.

At the same time, Platts will relabel the German E.ON Market price assessments as the 'NetConnect Germany' price assessments.

This is to reflect the official company names of the market areas at that date.

Subscribers should also note that the pipeline areas covered by these virtual hubs, and within which qualifying trades can take place, are being expanded from October 1.

The GASPOOL area represents a merger of the H-Gas Northern Germany, ONTRAS and WINGAS TRANSPORT market areas.

NetConnect Germany represents a merger of the E.ON Gastransport, bayernets, GRTgaz Deutschland, Eni Gas Transport Deutschland and GVS Netz market areas.

Changes will affect the price table published in Platts European Gas Daily and Platts dispatch data descriptions.
