Platts Dispatch service improvements, updated User Guide

Effective Monday, September 20, Platts is making several improvements to its FTP Dispatch and Dispatch CSV services. The changes, which should have no impact on subscribers, include:

* Price updates for several dispatch categories will be available earlier. A new 5:35pm cut will reflect prices as of 5pm US Eastern time. The new cut will provide updated files for four categories whose prices often update shortly after 3:40pm - EB (European bulk products), DP and GN (North American power and natural gas forward assessments), and GM (monthly North American natural gas assessments).

* Two backup cuts, at 9:15pm and 12:15am, will make it more convenient for M2M subscribers to receive any prices which may update after 7:40pm.

* Future-dated prices, including electric power and natural gas 'flow date' prices, will now be available earlier on the day they're dated.

* An updated Dispatch User Guide is now available on platts.com. It provides complete information on the the Platts Dispatch service, including the changes above. To obtain the new User Guide, place your mouse over the 'Subscriber Services' menu, choose 'Software & User Manuals' from the dropdown list, and click on the link for 'FTP Dispatch/Dispatch CSV User Guide' or follow this link: https://www.platts.com/SoftwaresAndUserManuals/ If you have any questions or comments regarding this announcement, please contact your local Platts Customer Care representative, or email support@platts.com.
