Sugar market data additions

Platts will launch two new market data categories SP (Agriculture: Sugar Non-Platts Data) and SY (Agriculture: Sugar Freight) to supplement the Sugar market data category SG (Agriculture: Sugar) announced on August 16, 2013. For the complete list of symbols for SG, see http://plts.co/Sugar-Market-Data. All three categories will be packaged into one sugar bundle and made available as a Sugar Market Data package.

The SY market data category will contain sugar freight assessments and will be launched on September 10, 2013, along with the SG market data category. For the complete list of symbols, see http://plts.co/sugar-freight. The launch date for SP market data category containing third-party data for sugar will be announced in due course along with the list of symbols.

As part of this launch, Platts will backfill historical data associated with these assessments. The data will be backfilled from their earliest available date to the date of launch.
