Adjustments to Metals Data Category Changes

As previously announced, Platts launched two new data packages for metals on August 20 - Steel & Raw Materials, and an expanded Platts Metals package. The new packages include the addition of SBB and TSI price assessments, the activation of several new Market Data Categories (MDCs), and the realignment of existing metals symbols with the new MDC structure.

Several adjustments have been made to the MDC changes announced on August 13. The two major ones are: * Assignments for some 3rd-party steel symbols in MDCs MX and SX have been adjusted * LME metals symbols have now been aligned with the revised definitions of the two LME MDCs, LM and ML
