Platts introduces US LNG weighted average price/volume codes

The following codes were created in dispatch category LF.

They represent volumes and weighted average prices of monthly LNG imports to US terminals from spot deals, long-term contracts, short-term contracts, as well as total purchases and weighted average prices.

The prices will appear in a table near the beginning of the month in Platts LNG Daily.

Launch date is scheduled for September 1, 2009.
