Platts assess Asian emulsion & solution styrene butadiene rubber

Platts will introduce Asian spot assessments for emulsion and solution styrene, butadiene rubber from September 3, 2012.

The assessments will reflect weekly spot transactions on an CFR Northeast Asia and CFR Southeast Asia basis.

All spot assessments would reflect non-oil extended emulsion SBR 1502 grades, and solution SBR 1502 grades.

All price assessments will reflect the close of Asian markets, time stamped at 16:30 GMT subject to the typical guidelines of the Platts Market on Close assessment process.
