Platts launches additional Polish electricity codes

Commodity: Electric Power Region: Europe

The following codes were created in dispatch categories PE and EE.

They represent daily assessments for Polish day-ahead and week-ahead baseload and peakload electricity.

The assessments will complement existing coverage of the European electricity markets with assessments published each UK working day, in Zloty/MWh with a conversion to Eur/MWh.

Daily assessments will be published in European Power Daily and EPA page 91.

Platts will apply the market-on-close (MOC) methodology for the proposed assessments.

Launch date for the new assessments is scheduled for July 1, 2010.
