Due to a technical error, the conversion of the daily Platts assessments for 2010 sulfur dioxide allowances into a dollar-per-short ton figure has been incorrect since January 4, 2010.
The error has been corrected and the $/st figure for 2010 SO2 allowances now reflects the fact that two SO2 allowances are required per one short ton of emissions.
This notice was also published in Coal Trader on Monday, May 17, 2010.
Code in question is: EDS2A10 - US SO2 2010 Dly Assess $/St, and dates corrected are from January 14, 2010, through May 13, 2010.
