Reminder: Metals codes being discontinued

Platts will discontinue five formula prices effective March 31 for copper, lead and tin, following notifications last year and this year. These prices consist of the following price series: Copper MW Producer Cathode, Copper MW Producer Refined, Lead MW NA Producer, Lead Secondary Producer and Tin Composite.

Possible alternatives for these prices are the Lead North American Market (AADDN00,Tin MW NY Dealer (MMAAW02), and the new US Copper Transaction price launching April 1,2014, which will be available as a daily (MMCUT00), weekly average (MMCUT04) and monthly average (MMCUT03).

Please note that these prices will be discontinued on March 31, 2014, after publication of the March monthly averages.
