The following symbols have been created in Market Data category ES for backfilling SPDJI indexes history over 200k data points. The backfills will start next week and span to a few weeks to complete.
The SPDJ Indexes data history includes indexes produced by S&P Dow Jones between January 1, 2000 and September 14, 2013. The indexes were volume-weighted averages of bilateral, wholesale, physical transactions. The indexes included COB, Four Corners, Mead/Marketplace, Mid-Columbia and Palo Verde. Index categories - Firm and non-firm daily indexes: The indexes include 16-hour blocks for on peak and 8-hour blocks for off-peak. The volume is reported in total megawatts transacted per hour. Terminology - On-peak hours: Hours ending 7 to 22 Pacific Time, Monday through Saturday, except NERC holidays. Off-peak Hours: Hours ending 1 to 6 and 23-24 Pacific Time Monday through Saturday except NERC holidays, hours ending 1-24 Sunday. Firm Energy: Firm energy is defined as being financially firm and backed with liquidated damages. Non-firm Energy: Non-firm energy is defined as being subject to interruptions at any time.
