Revised effective date, March 27, for NYMEX/ICE data changes

As previously announced, Platts plans to make two changes to the end-of-day NYMEX, ICE and other energy futures exchange data delivered to subscribers between 8 and 10pm US Eastern time each weekday.

In order to provide more time for necessary testing and conversion activities, the changes will now take effect on Tuesday, March 27, 2012; they had previously been scheduled for February 1.

The changes will affect most subscribers to the Market Data Categories listed below. They are:

* Prices currently published as integers (whole numbers) will be published as decimal ($US or Euros and cents) values to match those posted by the exchanges.

* Volume and open interest values will be published as current-day values. This means that volume and open interest figures with a given date will apply to that date, rather than to the previous trading day as they do now, and will thus align with the prices for that date.
