SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts switches Rotterdam 0.1% bunker fuel specification to RMD 80

Following an extended period of research, S&P Global Platts now reflects an RMD 80 specification for its 0.1% sulfur delivered bunkers assessment at Rotterdam, Netherlands, effective February 1, 2019.

This follows a decision note to reflect an RMD 80 specification at Rotterdam, published November 23, 2018, the link for which can be found here: atts-to-switch-rotterdam-01-bunker-fuel-specification-to-rmd-80

Platts previously reflected an RMG 380 specification, with a maximum sulfur content of 0.1%. According to Platts' research the majority of 0.1% sulfur bunker fuel traded at the port of Rotterdam is on the RMD 80 specification.
