Platts corrects US copper transaction prices for Dec. 23-24

Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, is correcting the values for the US copper transaction price (symbol MMCUT00) on Dec. 23 and Dec. 24.

A technical error prevented the values for MMCUT00 from updating properly on those dates, resulting in a miscalculation in the weekly average (symbol MMCUT04).

The correct daily values for MMCUT00 on Dec. 23 and Dec. 24 should be 553.6 cents/lb and 555.85 cents/lb, respectively. The correct weekly average for MMCUT04 for the week ended Dec. 24 should be 553.067 cents/lb.

These prices appeared in Platts Metals Daily and in the Platts price database. Corrected values have been republished.
