US New Year's holiday bilateral power, gas trading schedule

Megawatt Daily and Platts Energy Trader will not be published on Jan. 1-2 due to the New Year's holiday.

The daily North American power and natural gas trading schedule during the week of New Year's Day is as follows:

West bilateral power traded on Dec. 31 will include day-ahead on-peak for Jan. 2, day-ahead off-peak for Jan. 1-2, and weekend for Jan. 1.

West bilateral power traded on Jan. 2 will include day-ahead on-peak and off-peak for Jan. 3-5, and weekend on-peak and off-peak for Jan. 4.

Southeast bilateral power traded on Dec. 31 will include day-ahead on-peak for Jan. 2, day-ahead off-peak for Jan. 1-2 flow, and weekend on-peak for Jan. 1 flow.

Southeast bilateral power traded on Jan. 2 will include day-ahead on-peak for Jan. 5, day-ahead off-peak for Jan. 3-5, and weekend on-peak for Jan. 3-4.

West and Southeast assessments for Jan. 3-5 will be assessed retroactively on Jan. 5.

Daily North American natural gas price data collected on Dec. 31 will be for flow dates Jan. 1-5.
